Barefoot Art Gallery - Featured Artist
Janey Fritsche
"Sea of Love"
Show Ending  - January 31st, 2010
Janey Fritsche is a Bay Area artist and has been painting since
she was a very young girl. She has a Minor in Art from Lamar
University, Beaumont, Texas. Over the years she has studied
with many of the well known artist from the San Francisco area
such as Chester Arnold, Dennis Hare, David Hardy and
numerous others.  She attended the San Francisco Art Institute
and art studies at UC Berkeley and College of Marin.

Janey paints with oil and when she puts the brush to the canvas
it will often be done to music.
"Painting is visual music for me; it is dance. It is riding the
tempo of the moment with brush palette knife - recording the
journey. It is a rhythmic flow that feels seductive, dangerous and
vivifying."

The Barefoot Art Gallery is very proud to be showing some of
Janeys's beautiful, alive and colorful works through the end of
January. Be sure not to miss it. Come in to experience the
wonderful uplifting splashes of color and movement on canvas.
A treat in the middle of winter!

Looking forward to seeing you at the show!
